Article Writing Trick Question - Should I Edit My Articles As I Improve My Skills?

By Mark A. Abrahams

One of the very big dilemmas that you will face with writing articles is that as you write more and gradually improve you will wonder whether you should go and change your articles and edit them to get better results.

Well, the answer is yes and no. It is much better to rather have articles out there generating traffic to your web site than to have no articles at all. When you first start out you will just be happy to get your work approved in the directory. Later on you will want to maximize your conversion as you get get good at this. It is at this point you will look at your stats in EzineArticles and you will notice that some of your articles get good impressions, but very few url clicks. This could be because you do not have a very good bio. For those select few I suggest that you go and change your bio to improve your conversion.

However, you need to be careful as EzineArticles need to manually review your work again. So you could be creating a lot of extra work for their staff if you continually edit your work and submit it for review.

So the answer is no if you are going to abuse the system because I do not think that the editors will appreciate your efforts. This is common business practise where it is important to be ethical. If you do decide to edit and submit your work for review I find that submitting late in the evening works best as it will usually get approved the following day.
